What's wrapIT Development Team?The wrapIT Development Team is a group of independent IT and web professionals who work together to do projects that are beyond the experience and skills of any one of the team as an individual. The team was founded by Greg Correll of Small Packages, Inc. Greg led a complex e-commerce project that was built as a "mashup" of two popular Open Source programs in early 2006. By happy coincidence, the team that was assembled for that one-time project had skill sets as individuals that complemented each other and dovetailed into a very smooth and productive force. Given that, it was no stretch to bid for and win a number of large and important projects. While each team member remains independent, and still works on individual projects, all of us agree that the larger projects are more challenging and often more fun. In short, the last 18 months have been very good for the wrapIT Team, and the future seems even brighter. I'm proud to serve as kind of a "utility infielder". My main contribution is keeping up with the progress of the planet's most popular CMS, Joomla!. Our team's motto is: "We launch websites while others are scheduling meetings." |
